TRAILER - THE SILENCE AFTER THE FIRE
Documentary, Educational
PREMIERE 22 NOVEMBER 2026.
This is not a film about fire. It is a film about what fire leaves behind: the scorched countryside, the farms that were a lifetime’s work reduced to ashes, the villages that have seen their landscape go up in flames and now have to learn to look at it differently. And the forest firefighters who put out that fire with their bare hands — without reinforcements, without recognition — and who today are taking to the streets to denounce the very same issues they were already denouncing before the disaster.
Through the voices of mayors, elderly residents and firefighters from several towns in Aragón, *El silencio después del fuego* weaves an ensemble narrative about the region’s collective memory, rural neglect and what remains once the media cameras have moved on.
