A documentary that explores the fascinating life of the steppe birds of Aragon and the growing dangers that threaten their survival.

Through the eyes of experts, conservationists and local inhabitants, the film reveals the unique beauty of these ecosystems, the importance of their biodiversity and the urgency of taking measures to protect them.

From the history of the relationship between humans and the steppes to current environmental challenges, ‘Esteparias, El Último Suspiro’ offers a moving and revealing look at the fragility of these natural treasures and a call to action for their conservation.

The documentary does not limit itself to diagnosing the problem, but also seeks solutions. It presents examples of successful conservation projects, sustainable development initiatives that seek to reconcile human activity with the protection of biodiversity, and the importance of collaboration between different social actors to reverse the current trend.

‘Esteparias, El Último Suspiro’ is, in short, a documentary that combines beautiful images with a powerful message. It is a tribute to the steppe birds of Aragon and the unique ecosystems they inhabit, but it is also an urgent wake-up call about the need to act to protect this valuable natural heritage before it is too late.
